The folks ofer at PVRblog give the details on the new release of MythTV (via PVRblog).

Some of the new features in this release are:

• Support for playback on Mac OS X (no recording yet)
• "Timestretch" to speed up/slow down video playback without affecting the audio of the pitch - Arrested Development at 1.5x won't sound like the Chipmunks
• Recording from Firewire HDTV cable boxes
